Volunteer and Explorer Reunion
This weekend was reunion weekend for Middle East Explorer 2010 and the volunteers from spring, who was in South Africa. They were gathered to meet up again, to tell their stories, to dance, and to launch a new network.
Happy volunteers at the end of a good weekend on Løgumkloster Højskole.
20 amazing, young travelers reunited for a weekend of remembrance, reflection and revelry at Løgumkloster Højskole. The reunion brought together volunteers from the spring of 2010 and Middle East Explorers - and together they found new ways of telling their stories from the great big world. The weekend started out with talking about and evaluating our experiences and a lot of “do you remember when…” and “it was so funny when you…” filled the air. Saturday was spent looking forward - learning new ways of inspiring others to go explore the world. Tea and Annette – educators of MS ActionAid spent the day teaching us storytelling – how to tell, who to tell and why to tell. After a long, hard but fun day the master of Danish electronica, Bjørn Svin drew everyone to the dance floor for a party to remember. Sunday we gathered to kickstart “Fortællernetværket” a network for everyone who has travelled with Løgumkloster Højskole – for more information check out the website soon and follow the news here on tr@f!!
